Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, covering an area of 400 acres, occupies a part of the island of Key Biscayne. This park is home to the famous Cape Florida Light which is the oldest standing edifice in Miami-Dade County. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park was rated for having the 8th best beach in Florida.

This park was named in the honor of Bill Baggs who was the editor of The Miami News. It has one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida with crystal blue water and velvety tight sand. It stretches for more than a mile of sandy Atlantic beachfront. The beach not only provides exotic views and eye-catching scenes but it also offers a tour of the lighthouse and the keeper's quarters.

Apart from the usual beachside sports such as canoeing, boating, fishing and kayaking, it also provides other side activities such as hiking and wildlife tours.
