The park was designed by world famous sculptor Isamu Noguchi whose creations are admired throughout the world. While designing the Homestead Bayfront Park, Noguchi combined Japanese patterns with American sensibilities to attract visitors.

The Homestead Bayfront Park is home to 32 acres of greenery with a small beach, a cascading fountain, a tropical garden and a light tower. It includes some beautiful monuments and memorials built in the memory of great explorers, sailors and adventurers.

Famous monuments situated within the premises of the Homestead Bayfront Park include Veterans' Memorial, Challenger Memorial, Centennial Time Capsule, Mildred and Claude Pepper Fountain, and monuments of Christopher Columbus and Claude Pepper.
