Ancient Spanish Monastery

This is among the oldest buildings in Miami and has a history going back to 1141. The Monastery was originally built in Spain. Closer to current times, William Randolph Hearst, the Newspaper magnate brought the monastery over to Miami and in 1952, the Miami developers succeeded in reassembling the monastery at the current site. Monday through Saturday the Monastery is open to public from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sundays the timing is from 1.30 to 5 pm. There is an entry fee of $ 5.0 with discounts being applicable to certain categories of visitors.

Biscayne National Park

Adventurers have the opportunity to enjoy the 53 foot glass bottom boat and the snorkeling and diving catamaran of 45 foot across the Southern Biscayne Bay. The tour moves through mangrove creeks, wilderness, islands and enters the tropical coral reefs. At the Coral reefs, you are treated to a sea of Aquatic life. For enthusiasts of scuba diving and snorkeling, facilities are available from the boat itself. Everglades Alligator Farm

The Everglades Alligator farm offers a thrilling airboat tour through which you can enjoy live shows featuring snakes and alligators. The farm is open every day from 9am to 6pm. In the immediate neighborhood, you can also visit the Everglades National Park which is the largest national park in U.S. housed in no less than 1.5 million acres full of beautiful and rare ecosystems.
