
Totally Different Experience at Monkey Jungle - Where the Humans Are Caged and the Monkeys Run Wild
Established way back in the 30s this is a very unique reserve for primates. There are close to around 30 different species of primates. Currently the number of primates in the Monkey Jungle number around 400. Some of the major species that thrive in this reserve are the Wolly Monkey, Java Monkey, Gibbons, Mandrill, DeBrazza, Gorillas, Orangutans and the Squirrel Monkeys.
The Monkey Jungle in Miami operates from 9.30 in the morning till 5 pm in the evening. Admission fees to the jungle are $29.95 for adults while children rates are $23.95. Senior citizens above 65 years are charged $27.95 while infants have free admission.
There is no parking fee in this facility and tickets are not issued beyond 4 pm. If you plan to keep on visiting the facility then its best an annual membership priced at $39.95 for adults and $29.95 for children. There is presently a $2 and $1 off on admission fees available and applicable for a maximum of 6 people per discount coupon.
There is also an Amazonian Forest and a daily feeding schedule three times a day where you can observe the primates. In case you want to have your child's birthday part in the Monkey Jungle then you can opt for the Safari camp provided for by the facility. Birthday parties are charged at $21.95 per child with each child receiving a goody bag, t-shirt, and food. There is also an active adoption program in the Jungle where you can adopt primates for a fixed amount.
