Then how to drive to the park? On the website of the Haulover Beach, there are detailed directions and we have collected them for your convenience.

- If you are coming from the North, take Interstate 95 south to Ives Dairy Road (8 miles south towards Interstate 595 and the Ft. Lauderdale Airport). Exit at Ives Dairy Road and keep driving east for 1.2 miles to US-1. Take a right south onto US-1 and turn left onto SR 856 (William Lehman Causeway). Stay east for 1.6 miles until the road dead-ends at A1A. Drive 1.6 miles to SR 826 and stay on it south underneath the overpass. In about 0.8 miles, you can see the signs on the right for the North Beach Parking Lot.

Or you can resort to the much simpler route of choosing US-1 south to SR 826 and staying east, which can save you from the needs of passing 4 lanes in 0.6 miles.

- If you are coming from the South, take I-95 or US-1 north to NW 125 Street. Continue east and cross Broad Causeway towards Collins Avenue. Take a left (north) onto Collins Avenue. In about one mile you will meet the bridge over Baker's Haulover Cut. Keep driving about 1.4 miles on the bridge, cross the marina, golf course and boat dock, and stop at North Beach Parking Lot which is located at the north end of the park.

Since we have mentioned driving, now let's talk something about parking. Parking is charged $5 each vehicle at the Haulover Beach. The parking lots are opened from the sunrise and closed at the sunset. Please note that there is no overnight parking available.

The park has a large parking lot at the northern part - the North Parking Lot, which is the top option for visitors on clothing-optional beach. If this facility is full, you can keep driving about 0.3 miles south, across the Boat Ramp entrance to Parking Lot #1, or proceed about 0.8 miles to Parking Lot #2 behind the Golf Course.
