General Info

There are three on-site parking facilities serving the airport: a two-level parking lot nestled directly in front of the Concourse E exclusive for short-term parking needs, and two seven-story parking garages repetitively located at the North (Dolphin) and the South (Flamingo), connecting to the terminal through the pedestrian passageway on Level 3.

The Dolphin Parking Garage is the top choice for the North Terminal D, Central Terminal E, accessible from the Customs E via both the departure and arrival level. The Flamingo Parking Garage is close to the South Terminal G, H, J and Central Terminal F. This garage is only accessible on the arrival level. Dolphin and Flamingo garages meet at the west ends.

Options and Rates

As a guest-friendly airport, MIA has offered several parking options to meet various needs, including short-term parking, long-term parking, valet parking, economy parking, disable parking and over-height vehicles parking. 1. Short - Term Parking

If you drop in at the airport for a quick visit, the two-level short-term parking lot is recommended. It lies just in front of Central E, adjacent to the North Terminal D and Central Terminal G. The Upper Short-term is within easy access via the departure level and the Lower part is accessible on the arrival level. Under the condition that this lot is full, you are suggested to park at Dolphin and Flamingo garages.

The rates for short-term parking are $2.5 for each thirty minutes, and $30.00 maximum per day.

2. Long-Term Parking

Dolphin Garage and the east part of Flamingo are available for long-term parking. The entrance for both of them is off Central Boulevard. For the first hour parking, the rare is $4.00. For one- to two-hour parking, the fee is $8.00. For parking of 3 to 4 hours, you are charged $12.00, and parking for 4 to 5 hours is of $15.00. Please note that for each 24 hour period, the rate is $15.00 and the maximum stay is limited to 60 days.

3. Valet Parking

Want to experience the attentive and personal parking at MIA? Then choose valet parking which is available at the Dolphin Parking Garage Level 2, accessible from the North Terminal D.

The parking rate for this option starts at $18.00 without any hidden charges for the first 3 hours. It increases to $30.00 maximum for over 3-hour parking and each 24 hour period. Be clear that valet parking is limited to consecutive 20 days.

4. Economy Park & Ride

This parking site is found at 1350 NW 45th Avenue. Compared with the options above, parking here is stunningly cheaper. The first hour parking is charged $3.00 only, $6.00 for the following hour, and $8.00 maximum for per 24-hour parking. Similar to the long-term parking, your vehicles can be parked here only within 60 days.

5. Disable Parking

To help the disable gain a convenient parking experience, MIA has designated a number of disable permit parking spaces along the moving sideways on the third floor of Dolphin Garage and Flamingo Garage.
