Miami Museum Of Science
The Miami Museum of Science is one of the most prominent museums in the city and is listed on every Miami Florida travel publication as a must visit spot. The museum traces its history back to the year 1950 when the Junior Museum of Miami was established. Due to its rapid growth the museum was moved to a new location in the year 1952 where it was termed as the Museum of Science and Natural History.
Subsequent years saw numerous developments such as the formation of the Guild of the Museum of Science and the Planetarium of the museum. The tickets bought for entry to museum also include the admissions to the planetarium, the wildlife center and the various galleries of the museum. The admission fee for adults is charged at $18.00, for children between 3 and 12 years of age is charged at $13.00, for students who come with their valid I.D. is charged at $16.00 and for senior citizens above 62 years of age is charged at $16.00. Payments can be made in cash or via an American Express Card, Visa Card or a Master Card.

The Miami Museum of Science and Natural History is open from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening every day. These timings are followed all through the year except on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day when the museum remains closed. Visitors can plan trips to the Weintraub Observatory on the first Friday of each month between 8:30 in the evening and 10 in the night.
