Opened in 1985 as th first restaurant of the growing chain of stores and restaurants, the place is one of the Key West travel specials. Known after the famous songwriter Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville is somehow related to the music and the career of Jimmy. Jimmy had released his song ‘Margaritaville’ in 1977.
