Marathon Airport & Shuttle Service

Originally built by the US Navy in the early 1940s, the Marathon airport is a public airport along the Overseas Highway in Marathon, Monroe County, Florida. The airport sees regular service by some of the major air carriers although the international flights have to be connected to one of the major airports like Miami airport. Continental Airlines offer scheduled service to the airport since the end of 2008. Prior to that, the services were provided by Delta which ended their service by mid 2007 due to the low demand. The airport is also served by several charter services.

The pickup times from the airport are 10:30 Am, 12:30PM, 2:30PM, 4:30PM and 8:30PM. The service is offered from the airport to Duck Key, Big Pine, Marathon, Islamorada and Key Largo.

Greyhound keys shuttle can also be used to travel from the airport. The shuttle service has three daily scheduled departures from the Miami airport to all areas in Keys, Florida. The shuttle leaves Marathon Airport North at 7:05 AM, 9:50 Am, 12:35 PM and 6:50 PM daily. The shuttle makes several stops between the Keys and the Miami International Airport.
