Schooner Wharf Bar
The Schooner Wharf Bar is one of the best open-air bars in Key West. The bar is known to have been a favorite of legendary Mel Fisher. Located at 201 William Street, the bar is the most entertaining and useful Key West travel tip when it comes to drinking. The bar sits aside the waters of the harbor giving it a serene and wanted setting.
Known as the ‘last piece of old Key West’ all over the country, The Schooner Wharf bar is popular among the locals and the travelers alike. The place is thoroughly relaxed and laid back. Just a walking distance from the Duval street, this place is miles apart when it comes to the setting and the atmosphere.
The house musician at the bar is a local celebrity, who has managed to have a following of his own. Micheal McCloud is known for his blend of country music along with blues and reggae. The clients at the bar are offered his services everyday while McCloud sips along while performing some breathtaking music.

Schooner’s Wharf has nothing conspicuous to boast about. It is an old Shack near the sea-port with a bar and a number of tables but it is the atmosphere of the place that makes it so special. The bar is known for Carona and Red Stripe drinks. There is an extensive selection of drinks available with some amazing delectables on the menu.
The happy hours (8am to noon, 5pm to 7pm, 2am to 4am) offer great discounts on the drinks and the domestic beer that is popular among the locals and those who avail Key West travel deals. Voted Best Local Bar for six years in a row, Schooner’s has great food and good music to go along its reputation.
