Visitor Guide to North Miami Beach
North Miami Beach often referred to as "NMB", located in the city of Dade-Miami County, Florida. History will tell us that in 1926 the place was known to be Fulford, name after the captain of the United States Coast Guard, Captain William H. Fulford. However, in 1931, the place was given another name; North Miami Beach.
The hotel Miami can offer to its guests can only be found in South Miami Beach and not in the North as well as many of the attractions. However, it also has beautiful beaches which serve as attraction, but they are not well-developed compared to the ones that can be found in the South. The only well-developed beach which can be considered within the limits of North Miami Beach is the Haulover Beach which is popularly known for its clothing-optional scheme. The said beach is maintained and operated under the administration of Dade-Miami County.

All that North Miami Beach can offer is history as it has the only authentic Spanish Monastery built during the medieval times. A historical church named after St. Bernard de Clairvaux can also be found in the place. It was said that the stones used for the building of the church were used in a building in Segovia Spain called Sacramenia, and were purchased by William Randolph Hearst who ordered for the dismantling of the stones to be brought to the United States. Few years after he died, the stones were used to build the famous St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church; very popular for rich weddings.
