Miami Tri-Rail
If you are going to be traveling in Miami in the state of Florida, chances are that you will probably use the Tri-Rail to get around in the city sometime.
Almost every major Miami travel guide lists the Tri-Rail as one of the premier means of transport in the city of
Miami. Miami travel deals do not always include transport facilities and hence the Tri-Rail can prove to be extremely useful.
Tri-Rail was established in 1989 for about $75 million and services were controlled and maintained by the Tri-Country Commuter Rail Authority. After 2003, the SFRTA (South Florida Regional Transportation Authority) has carried out this function. The Tri-Rail saw an increase in the number of passengers by about 10.2% in 2007 after one year.
